Honey is known as an elixir and liquid gold since ancient times. And there’s a very solid reason backed by science for that. From preventing infections and chronic diseases to curing many seasonal health-related issues, honey has shown wonderful results, therefore, it used to be the main ingredient of the ancient healers and the go-to ingredient of modern doctors.

Remedy ONE
Take 1 Cup of warm water and add the following.
  1. Honey – 1 Tablespoon
  2. Lemon juice – 1 Tablespoon
Remedy TWO
Prepare a mixture of the following. And consume it twice for relief from cough. 
  1. Honey – 2 Tablespoons
  2. Ginger juice – 2 Tablespoons
Prevent stomach infection
Food poisoning and other digestive problems occur because of the changing weather. Honey, due to its probiotic nature contains healthy bacteria keeping your gut happy and healthy. However, it is essential that you have fresh and healthy foods, vegetables, fruits and whole grains all the while avoiding processed food, fast food and other non-healthy elements such as sugar.
Remedy ONE
Have one tablespoon of the honey everyday morning to prevent stomach problems.
Remedy TWO
Drink 5 ml of fresh honey before every meal to treat stomach infection – diarrhoea. 
Prevent bacterial infection
Honey is one of the most effective ingredients that has antibacterial and antifungal properties. When monsoon brings water-borne diseases like cholera, thyroid, diarrhoea, etc. Regular consumption of honey helps prevent all of them. 
When you can have a spoonful of honey every day as suggested for other infections, you can also make honey one of your ingredients in your daily eatables and if possible also replace sugar with honey. Some of the dishes you can prepare with honey instead of sugar are coffee, yoghurt, cake, bread, green tea, etc.
